If, for any reason, you are not happy with your online or in-store purchase, Destination XL will accept returns and exchanges of unworn, unwashed merchandise within 90 days of purchase.
ONLINE PURCHASES For the quickest processing of your web or catalog exchange, fill out the return/exchange form and use the enclosed UPS prepaid return label. If you do not have a return label, you can download and print a label. Please record your tracking number for reference. Bring the package to your nearest UPS drop off location. We will ship your replacement item(s) within the continental U.S. at no additional charge. Any refunds will be made in the original method of payment. Shipping and handling charges are non-refundable, unless an error occurred on our part in shipping your order. On International returns, you are responsible for shipping fees, taxes, duties, and all applicable custom fees on returns or exchanges.

Merchandise returned to a Retail Store must be accompanied by a valid receipt or packing slip. The full purchase price, with applicable tax, will be refunded in the original method of payment. Returns without a receipt or packing slip will be issued a merchandise credit that reflects the item's lowest price within the last 30 days, including all applicable discounts and promotions, plus tax.
All returned merchandise will be charged a $7.50 return processing fee which will be deducted from your merchandise credit or refund.
We will waive the return processing fee for item(s) returned within 90 days for the following reasons:
- returns processed at your local store
- damaged/defective merchandise
- exchange orders
- shoe returns will not be charged a return processing fee
Custom suiting (offered in-store only) and custom dress shirts cannot be returned for a refund or exchange.
Additional Information on Home & Living Items:
- Some items must be returned within 30 days of package receipt (see products for details).
- Returned products must be in new condition and in the original packaging. We are unable to accept returns of assembled merchandise.
- Customer is responsible for return shipping charges on Home & Living products.
- Certain personal care products cannot be returned if they have been opened.
- Furniture and bicycle returns must be in their original packaging and shipping carton.
- Most furniture and bicycle returns will be charged a restocking fee and deducted from your refund; they may also require pickup by UPS or a trucking company.
