I like that it is not produced in a controversial asian country with children*s labour and very low salaries. Nice service, very flexible.... Everything at its best :-)

    Another tailoring problem

I tried on the coat off the rack and it fit well [...] It turns out my right arm is much longer ran my left [...] Maybe I should have been more aware but it had been a long time since I bought a sport coat and I was out of practice.

Bought on the fly in Seattle on the way to cruise ship.Emergency replacement of another blazer with a mysterious shrinkage problem in the abdomen region. Called ahead, and it was waiting for me when I got there. No tailoring necessary, although a tailor was on duty, as this is apparently not the first time this problem has arisen in Seattle on a Friday afternoon. [...]

Meh.. hoped for better for the money...

I travel 1-2 times a week for work, and needed a sportcoat that would be durable, not wrinkle too easily, and look good even after some buffoon moves it and then crushes it with his comically oversized 'carry-on' luggage. I could not afford to spend the extra $300 for the Joseph Abboud (wish I did, now) so I got the Jack Victor. I have two other Jack Victor suits, purchased in 1998 and 2005, and they have held up well. This is not a BAD blazer, it just does not perform as they led me to believe it would. The buttons have a neck on them so they all hang down sort of comically, which I don't find awesome. And putting anything at all in the left inner breast pocket makes it bulge in a truly unacceptable way, but I can't seem to find where or how it might be stitched wrong. Not sure if I just got a bum one or not. My Victor suits don't do that at all... I guess my issue is, this was a lot for me to spend on a blazer, and I just don't feel like I can trust it totally in my travels, and I don't love it. I just like it. Your milage may vary. Try it on, and try on the Abboud... see which you like better. They both look fantastic in general.

It's the cut -- "portly regular". Meaning, for rounder built guys who don't also need "long" cuts Sent from my iPhone

What does prt long mean? Specifically

    Ms Bozik

Hi, Ms Bozik. The PORTLY suit has little or no "drop. This suit will fit the man whose waist is the same size or bigger than his chest. To get the best fit in a portly suit, it is best to use the bigger of the two measurements. To get the correct length the following scale can be used. 5'1" - 5'7" generally wears - short 5'8" - 6'1" generally wears - regular 6'2" - 6'4" generally wears - long 6'5" - 6'10" generally wears - x-long
