kind of hard to use without the seat that is sold separately at a higher cost! After paying to get the chair to put it all together it works ok, but not worth the cost!!

Comments about SmoothRider II Exercise Cycle:

The best part about this cycle is no one bothers me when I am using it and that really reduces my stress! The worst thing a Fibromyalgia patient can do is stop exercising and the second worst is to exercise too much. This cycle is small enough to use for 5 min and sturdy enough for 5 hours. If I start to cramp in my legs, I start pedaling and the cramps go away. The unit is small enough, with the chair, that I can keep it in the living room and conveinent for my use. No electricity needed.

The cycle can be used separately from the chair. Unfortunately the chair item X1911 is now sold out.

My husband is 6' and I am 5'. We would like to get the SmoothRider Exercise Cycle to hook onto the exercise chair. Is there a way to adjust the distance to the pedals so that we both could use the cycle?

              A:

Hi Linda, Thank you for your inquiry. The pedals of this item do not have an adjustment feature. The adjustment is in the foundation of the product, which does accommodate for the heights of 5-6 feet.

Hi, Jen. Thanks for your inquiry. You can set this on a table and use it to strengthen your arms. Or, you can attach it to X1911 Resistance Chair® for additional cardio and leg exercises.

            • A:

You need to attach a chair fitting to it to use it seated. This would otherwise exercise your upper body.

This is the stationary bike/pedal portion add-on (product #X1908) to the X1911 Resistance Chair system. You can attach this to the front crossbar of the Resistance Chair for cardio and leg exercises. There are a number of other add-ons available for the system, including a shoulder stretcher and resistance cables.
